Building on the solid foundation of previous years—where seeds of active citizenship were planted and strengths were united to nourish growth—the 2016 theme, Active Participation in Nourishing the Growing Plant, emphasized the importance of consistent engagement from every member to support the development of JCI Urban and its impact in the community.

It was a year to cultivate leadership from within, ensure continuity of vision, and reinforce the idea that collective commitment fuels sustainable impact. Active participation became the fertilizer that helped the young plant of JCI Urban grow into a resilient and fruitful force for positive change.
